Oversize & Freight Orders
A piece too long, too wide or too heavy for FedEx or UPS — longer than 104″ (8 ft 8 in), or over about 150 lb packed — ships by freight truck. Those orders go through a quote: you’ll have it within 1 business day, with the freight on it before you pay. We ship a single piece up to 16 ft full length; longer stock is cut to 16 ft or less, any way you want, at no charge. One limit worth knowing: a carrier will take only ONE of length or width over 94″. A sheet wider than that has no truck at any length, so we quote it for pickup or your own carrier instead — we’ll say so plainly on the quote, before you pay.

- Truck freight depends on the delivery site. A home address, a liftgate (no dock or forklift), or a limited-access site such as a jobsite, school or military base changes the freight price. Tell us on your quote request.
- If any delivery detail changes when you accept a quote, the freight is updated to match before you pay.
- Prefer your own carrier? Your freight company can pick up from our dock instead.
- Out of state? When your freight company picks up and ships it out of state, no California sales tax applies. We keep the bill of lading on file.
